Renay Rickard

Renay has worked within the KVG team for over 30 years, having joined as a YTS Kennel assistant in 1985. 

She qualified as a Veterinary Nurse in 1989 and developed her role to Head Nurse and then Practice Manager.  

Following the merger she became Practice Manager for the whole group and in 2017 a Director.

Her passion for working within the veterinary industry is driven by the amazing & dedicated team at KVG. She has also been recently appointed as the first Veterinary Nurse RCVS Practice Standards assessor.  

Outside of work she is to be found enjoying walking the Cornish coast path as is doing the whole route in stages. She enjoys exploring other areas of Cornwall with her 3 legged rescue Collie x, Jimmy. Her other passion is live music so also enjoys concerts and especially festivals.  

Renay is the current Junior Vice president of the Cornwall Veterinary Association.
